Charlee Tidrick

Hailing from the Southlands of both Texas and Tennessee, Charlee is proud of her country and western roots. Her vocal chords were shaped and strengthened singing Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn through a Karaoke machine. Making up mesmerizing harmonies is her most special skill - one she learned by belting out bubble gum oldies as they blared on the radio, with her encouraging mother at her side. A player of all things stringed, though a master of none, Charlee enjoys strumming along on guitar and mandolin,

or fiddling to her heart's content. Her favorite part of the Stomper's act is bouncing around on stage, dressed as a flapper and dancing swing. And one thing's for sure: she can play that washboard! Charlee's time with the Jake Leg Stompers was cut short when she left for Texas in 2006. Luckily, she routinely makes it back this way, and the Stompers always through a heck of a reunion show when she arrives! Expect to see her during summer time and on the occasional holiday. These days, seeing a show with Charlee is a real treat. But don't fret - if you miss her singing, you can always here her on one of our many c.d.s!
